General Description and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), along with our Privacy Policy and other applicable policies, constitute a legally binding agreement between BEHTAR TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED, operating as "AstroLokal" ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), and You ("User," "you," or "your"), governing your use of our website and mobile application (“platform”) and services, including astrological consultations via audio, video, and written reports (collectively, the "Services").

The use of Our Website, Mobile App or availing of our Services is subject to the following terms of use:

  • By using the Platform, you agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration, remain responsible for all activities under your account, and ensure the Services meet your needs. 

  • We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information provided and expressly disclaim liability for any inaccuracies. 

  • The Platform and its content are proprietary to us, and you shall not claim any intellectual property rights over them. Unauthorized use of the Platform may result in legal action. 

  • You agree to pay all applicable charges for Paid Services and acknowledge that the Platform may include third-party links, which are governed by their own terms. Upon initiating a transaction for any Service, you enter into a legally binding contract with us. 

  • Your use of the Platform must comply with applicable laws, and any violation may lead to action under these Terms and relevant regulations.

User Consent

By accessing or using this Website, you ("User," "Member," "You," "Your") expressly consent to and accept these Terms of Usage. If you do not agree, do not proceed or click "I AGREE."

You are advised to carefully review these Terms before registering, accessing, or using any content, information, or services on the Website. Your continued use of the Website, including after any updates, signifies your acceptance and agreement to be legally bound by these Terms. If you disagree, you must discontinue use immediately.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services or these Terms at our sole discretion without prior notice. Your inability to access the Platform shall not impose any liability on us. We may also limit your access to all or part of the Platform at any time.  

Registration and Eligibility

By using this app, you confirm that you are 18 years or older and legally capable of entering a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. The Website is not liable for unauthorized use, including access by minors, though Users may seek consultations regarding minors in their family.

To access the Services, you must register and provide accurate, current, and complete information ("Registration Data"). Your account may be created using a phone number (OTP), email ID, or third-party login (e.g., Facebook, Gmail). You are responsible for maintaining your account security. The Website may suspend or terminate accounts with false, outdated, or duplicate information.

Definition of a Registered Member

A Registered Member refers to any individual who has completed the sign-up process on AstroLokal by providing the required information and creating an account. Registered Members may access both free and paid services on the platform, including astrological consultations, reports, and personalized recommendations.

By registering, the Member agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information and to abide by AstroLokal’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. AstroLokal reserves the right to verify, suspend, or terminate a Registered Member’s account if any provided information is found to be false, misleading, or in violation of platform policies.

Your account is non-transferable, and you are responsible for all activity under it. Unauthorized use or security breaches must be reported immediately.

Some Services may be provided by third parties, and the Website is not responsible for such interactions. While security measures are in place, digital transactions carry inherent risks of fraud or misuse.

The Website prohibits access if:

  • Your jurisdiction restricts use of the Services.

  • You are subject to trade or legal restrictions.

  • Your use is prohibited by religious practices.

  • You create multiple accounts (only one active account per User is allowed)

By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to receive notifications via push notifications, WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, and other channels.

To ensure optimal performance, security, and continuous improvement of our services, AstroLokal reserves the right to manage, modify, restructure, or otherwise process any data provided by the user, at its sole discretion. This may include, but is not limited to, reorganization of user data, temporary suspension of services, or restriction of access to features such as wallet balances or other in-app assets, where necessary to maintain platform integrity or improve user experience. By using AstroLokal, you acknowledge and consent to such measures as part of the platform’s operational requirements.

Scope of Services

AstroLokal offers a variety of astrology-related services, including but not limited to horoscope readings, tarot, face and palmistry readings, numerology, life coaching, and spiritual counseling. Consultations are available through live chat, email, and telephone. Additionally, our platform provides access to spiritual products such as gemstones, rudraksh, and other related items. While we strive to offer meaningful insights, we do not guarantee the accuracy, effectiveness, or reliability of any consultation or prediction.

Service Access & Membership
AstroLokal offers both Free Services (available to all users) and Paid Services (requiring registration as a "Registered Member" and payment as indicated on the platform). Users must provide accurate and updated details for an optimal experience.
Astrologer Consultation Feature

By using our services, you consent to receiving calls from AstroLokal astrologers, even if your number is registered under DND (Do Not Disturb) services. First Free Chat/Call: New users (determined by mobile number and device ID) may receive a complimentary consultation of 1 to 5 minutes (duration varies per user).

Types of Content

There are three types of content that you will be able to access on the Platform:

  1. Your Content – Any information you share, including questions, birth details, or personal insights when consulting astrologers.
  2. Member Content – Reviews, feedback, and shared experiences regarding astrologers or services.
  3. Our Content – Astrological reports, predictions, articles, and other materials provided by AstroLokal, including platform-generated insights.
Content Restrictions

To maintain a safe and trustworthy environment, the following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or obscene material that infringes on others’ rights or violates legal regulations.

  • Medical, legal, or financial claims presented as professional advice—Astrology is for guidance only and does not replace qualified expert consultation.

  • Scams, impersonation, misleading claims, or unauthorized promotions related to astrological services.
    AstroLokal reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Service Changes & Liability:

  • The Website may modify or discontinue any content, features, or offers at its discretion.

  • Information provided by third-party service providers, including astrologers, should not be considered medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

  • The Website does not guarantee specific outcomes from consultations. Any use of services is at the User’s own risk.

  • The Website shall not be held liable for any adverse events resulting from services rendered. Users seeking legal remedies must pursue claims directly against the concerned service provider or third party.

Privacy

For details on how AstroLokal collects, uses, and shares your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy. By using AstroLokal, you consent to the handling of your data as outlined in this policy, including any updates posted on the platform.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and ensuring the confidentiality of your password. Any activity conducted through your device is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorized access, promptly report it to the appropriate authorities.

By continuing to use AstroLokal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the Privacy Policy, including any modifications made over time.

User Account Access

AstroLokal reserves the right to access user accounts and associated information to maintain service quality, improve user experience, and address concerns effectively. You consent to such access by our team, employees, or authorized personnel for service enhancement and complaint resolution.

To investigate reported violations or abuse, AstroLokal may review account activity on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Users are encouraged to review these terms carefully.

By using AstroLokal, you also agree to receive service-related notifications, newsletters, updates, and promotional communications via SMS, email, WhatsApp, and other channels. You may opt out of promotional messages as per the Privacy Policy guidelines.

Breach of Terms and Account Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated as outlined below.

If AstroLokal determines, in its sole discretion, that you have breached any part of these Terms, misused the platform, or engaged in conduct that is unlawful, misleading, or inappropriate (whether on or off the platform), AstroLokal reserves the right to take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issue a warning via email or other means of communication.

  • Remove or restrict access to any content you have uploaded.

  • Temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your account.

  • Revoke access to any paid services without issuing a refund.

  • Report your activity to the relevant law enforcement authorities if necessary.

  • Take any other action deemed appropriate to protect the integrity of the platform and its users.

Grounds for Termination

AstroLokal may immediately suspend or terminate your access to the platform if:

  • The information you have provided is false, misleading, or unverifiable.

  • Your actions impose legal risk or liability on AstroLokal or any affiliated third party.

  • You violate our Privacy Policy or interfere with the platform’s services.

  • Your conduct disrupts or negatively impacts other users or service providers.

AstroLokal also reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or restrict access to any services without prior notice. This includes removing your account without an obligation to provide an explanation.

Deactivation & Data Retention

  • You may request to deactivate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

  • Upon termination, AstroLokal reserves the right to retain your data for a specified period for record-keeping and compliance purposes. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Termination of Service Providers (Astrologers & Experts)

For astrologers and service providers, your engagement with AstroLokal is as an independent member acting on your own behalf. Any violation of these Terms of Use or Service Provider Terms & Conditions may result in the immediate deactivation of your profile and termination of your account.

Effects of Termination

Termination of your account includes:

  • Revocation of access to your account and all associated data.

  • Removal of any content linked to your account.

  • The continued applicability of certain provisions such as Dispute Resolution, Ownership Rights, Warranty Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability, which will survive account termination.

By using AstroLokal, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

AstroLokal’s Right to Suspend User Accounts

AstroLokal does not independently verify the accuracy of the information provided by Users or Registered Members and assumes no liability for any inaccuracies in such data. Users are solely responsible for the information they provide, and any reliance on this data is at their own risk.

AstroLokal reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend a Registered Member’s account or restrict access to certain services without prior notice if:

  • The information provided by the Registered Member is found to be false, misleading, or unverifiable.

  • The Registered Member engages in defamatory, false, or harmful statements about AstroLokal, its employees, affiliates, service providers, or the services offered through the platform.

  • The Registered Member violates the platform’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or any other related policy. 

Suspension or restriction may be applied at AstroLokal’s discretion to maintain platform integrity and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all users.

Security of Registered Member’s Account
Account Credentials & Responsibility

  • Registered Members must keep their login credentials (username and password) confidential.

  • Sharing login details is strictly prohibited.

  • Members must immediately report any unauthorized access or security breaches.

Payment Security

  • Members are solely responsible for the security of payment accounts linked to their AstroLokal account.

  • AstroLokal is not liable for unauthorized transactions, and any suspected misuse should be reported immediately.

Session Management

  • Members must log out after each session to prevent unauthorized access.

  • Any loss due to failure to log out is the sole responsibility of the member.

Platform Security & Restrictions

  • Users may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, rent, sell, or distribute the platform’s technology or software.

  • Unauthorized access to the platform’s servers or networks is prohibited.

  • Users must not engage in activities that disrupt platform services, including hacking, introducing malware, or denial-of-service attacks.

  • Circumventing or tampering with security features is strictly forbidden.

  • AstroLokal reserves the right to take immediate action against any violations, including account suspension or termination.

User Responsibilities & Obligations

By using the Website, you agree to abide by all applicable laws and these Terms. You are solely responsible for all activities on the platform. In compliance with Section 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, or share any information that:

  • Belongs to another person without proper authorization.

  • Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, or harassing based on gender, race, ethnicity, or religion.

  • Promotes or encourages money laundering, gambling, or any unlawful activity.

  • Is harmful to minors in any way.

  • Infringes on any patent, trademark, copyright, or proprietary rights.

  • Violates any existing laws or regulations.

  • Misleads others about the origin of information or intentionally spreads false or misleading content that may be perceived as factual.

  • Impersonates another individual or entity.

  • Threatens national unity, security, public order, friendly relations with foreign states, or encourages the commission of any cognizable offense.

  • Contains malware, viruses, or any software designed to damage, disrupt, or limit the functionality of any computer or network.

  • Is patently false and intended to mislead or harass individuals, entities, or organizations for financial or personal gain.

Furthermore, you must not:

  • Collect, store, or use usernames, email addresses, or personal data of users for advertising, solicitation, or spamming purposes.

  • Send unsolicited emails, promotions, junk mail, chain letters, or any form of spam.

  • Disrupt or interfere with the accessibility or functionality of the Website.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website, related servers, networks, or services through hacking, password mining, or other illicit means.

  • Upload or distribute files containing viruses, corrupted files, or harmful software that could damage the Website or user systems.

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Website’s software or services.

  • Sell, lease, rent, loan, assign, or transfer any rights to the Website or its services without explicit written consent.

  • Resell or exploit the Website’s services for commercial purposes without permission.

  • Violate these Terms or any other policies outlined on the Website.

By registering as a member, you acknowledge and agree to:

  • Receive communications through email, SMS, WhatsApp Business Messages, or other channels regarding your use of the Website.

  • Not transmit or share unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or objectionable content.

  • Not encourage or participate in activities that could lead to criminal liability or legal violations.

  • Not interfere with other users’ experience on the Website.

  • Report any misuse, abuse, or violation of these Terms to Customer Care. False complaints may result in the termination of your account without a refund.

The Website reserves the right to withdraw services from any user who engages in abusive or unreasonable behavior toward service providers, including astrologers. If a user repeatedly violates these Terms, their account may be permanently banned. Any remaining wallet balance may be refunded after applicable deductions, subject to the Website’s discretion.

Consultation With Astrologers

AstroLokal connects Users with experienced astrological experts ("Astrologers") who provide consultations through phone calls, video calls, text messages, and other electronic mediums. By opting for these services, you consent to AstroLokal facilitating such consultations.

Astrologers are strictly prohibited from sharing personal contact details, including phone numbers, emails, social media handles, or addresses. They are also forbidden from promoting or engaging in practices such as black magic, vashikaran, or tantra-based rituals.

Users must immediately report any violations of these terms by an Astrologer. Failure to do so may result in temporary suspension or restricted access to the platform.

Prohibited Practices

AstroLokal strictly prohibits the use or promotion of black magic, witchcraft, voodoo, tantrism, or any similar occult or exploitative practices on the platform. Such activities—whether performed, suggested, or requested—are against our community standards and may violate applicable laws, including but not limited to the Maharashtra and Karnataka Black Magic Acts and relevant provisions of the IPC and IT Act. If a user is found engaging in or facilitating such practices, intentionally or otherwise, AstroLokal reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete the account, restrict access to services or wallet balances, and report the matter to legal authorities if required.

Refund, Cancellation, and Delivery Policy
Delivery of Services and Products

AstroLokal provides astrological consultations and products to Users through various electronic mediums, including phone calls, video calls, chat messages, and digital reports. Users acknowledge that:

  • Digital services, such as consultation reports, are delivered electronically and are non-refundable once processing has commenced.

  • Display images of products are for reference purposes only, and AstroLokal aims to deliver products as closely as possible to the depiction on the Website.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Services
Refunds. Generally, all charges for purchases are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods.

Banking and Payment Information
Payment Methods and User Obligations

All payments for Paid Services must be made exclusively through the User’s linked wallet (“AstroLokal Wallet”). To fund the wallet, you may use the following payment methods: (a) purchasing through a third-party platform, such as digital wallets (including Razorpay and Cashfree), collectively referred to as the "Third-Party Store," or (b) paying via credit card, debit card, or net banking, processed by a third-party payment processor. By completing a payment, you authorize us to charge your selected Payment Method. If payment is not received from your chosen Payment Method, you agree to promptly settle all outstanding amounts upon our request.

By using AstroLokal’s payment services, Users confirm that all provided banking details, including debit/credit cards, net banking, and UPI, are accurate and legally authorized. Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions are strictly prohibited, and AstroLokal reserves the right to decline payments suspected of fraud or non-compliance. Users are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds and entering correct payment details, as AstroLokal is not liable for failed transactions due to User errors. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed per AstroLokal’s refund policy and credited only to the original payment source.

AstroLokal employs secure encryption protocols but is not responsible for unauthorized access due to User negligence. Users must safeguard their banking details and report any suspected fraudulent activity. Transactions comply with applicable financial regulations, including RBI and PCI-DSS standards, and may require identity verification. Any payment disputes must first be addressed through AstroLokal’s support team, and violations of these terms may result in account suspension, legal action, or forfeiture of wallet balances and refunds.

Limitation of Liability and Warranties

The services may include recommendations for astrological remedies such as mantras, yantras, gemstones, or other spiritual practices. These are provided in good faith by the astrologers, but AstroLokal makes no representations or warranties about their efficacy or scientific validity. Users should exercise their own judgment before acting on any advice provided through the platform.

No Warranties

AstroLokal and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners do not warrant that:

  • The services will meet the User’s expectations or requirements.

  • The services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

  • The results obtained from the services will be accurate, reliable, or effective.

  • The quality of any products, services, or materials obtained through the platform will meet User expectations.

  • Any errors or defects in the software or services will be corrected.


The User must provide complete and truthful disclosure about their emotional, mental, and physical state while seeking astrological advice, enabling astrologers to make informed judgments. AstroLokal does not provide any medical, psychological, or financial advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional guidance in these fields.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AstroLokal, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to errors, omissions, interruptions, delays, non-performance, system failures, transmission issues, or unauthorized access.

  • Any losses resulting from unauthorized access to user accounts, including fraudulent transactions, whether with or without the user’s knowledge. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials.

  • The quality, accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information, predictions, or remedies provided by astrologers or third-party service providers through the platform. All astrological guidance is subjective and varies based on the individual astrologer’s knowledge, interpretation, and experience.

  • The non-availability of the website or mobile application due to maintenance, technical issues, or other factors beyond AstroLokal’s control.

  • Any damages or losses resulting from downloading or accessing content from the platform, including potential harm to the user’s device or loss of data. Users access content at their own risk.

In no event shall AstroLokal’s total liability for any claim arising from the use of the platform exceed the amount paid by the user for the services during the period of membership in which the claim arose. Any claims must be submitted in writing within thirty (30) days of the alleged issue.

Representations and Warranties
All services provided through the Website are offered on an "as available" basis, without express or implied warranties unless otherwise explicitly stated. The Website does not guarantee that:

  • It will be continuously available without interruptions or errors.

  • The information provided is complete, accurate, or non-misleading.

  • The platform is free from viruses, malware, or harmful components.

  • It will compensate Users for any data loss, modifications, or unavailability of information.

AstroLokal does not endorse, recommend, or verify the validity, accuracy, or applicability of any advice provided by astrologers. Astrologers on the platform operate as independent service providers, not employees of AstroLokal.

Not a Crisis or Medical Platform
AstroLokal is not a suicide prevention or medical helpline. If a user is experiencing thoughts of self-harm, they are urged to discontinue use of the platform immediately and seek help from professional emergency services or crisis helplines or other appropriate authorities.
Links to Third-Party Websites

AstroLokal may provide links to third-party websites or platforms for user convenience. However, these external sites operate independently and are governed by their own terms of use, over which AstroLokal has no control. Users accessing such third-party platforms are solely responsible for reviewing and agreeing to their respective terms and conditions before engaging in any transactions.

AstroLokal does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites. Any transactions, communications, or interactions with third-party service providers, including payment processors and verification services, are solely between the user and the respective third party. AstroLokal bears no liability for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from such interactions.

Additionally, while AstroLokal may include third-party content on its platform, it does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or reliability. Users should exercise discretion before relying on such information for any purpose.

Disclaimer

THE ASTROLOKAL PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WEBSITE, MOBILE APPLICATION, SERVICES, CONTENT, AND ANY MATERIALS PROVIDED, IS OFFERED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ASTROLOKAL EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR EFFECTIVENESS OF ANY ASTROLOGICAL GUIDANCE, PREDICTIONS, OR REMEDIES OFFERED THROUGH THE PLATFORM.
SHOULD APPLICABLE LAW NOT PERMIT THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN IMPLIED WARRANTIES, ASTROLOKAL PROVIDES THE MINIMUM EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY REQUIRED BY LAW. (i) THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE;
(ii) THE RESULTS OR OUTCOMES OF USING THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS;
(iii) ANY ERRORS OR DEFECTS IN THE PLATFORM WILL BE CORRECTED; OR
(iv) THE CONTENT OR INFORMATION PROVIDED BY ASTROLOGERS, OTHER USERS, OR THIRD PARTIES IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE.

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF ASTROLOKAL’S SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. ASTROLOKAL SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL LOSSES, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, OR DECISIONS MADE BASED ON ASTROLOGICAL ADVICE OR RECOMMENDATIONS. ASTROLOKAL DOES NOT VERIFY, ENDORSE, OR GUARANTEE THE CREDENTIALS, ACCURACY, OR EFFECTIVENESS OF ANY ASTROLOGICAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY INDEPENDENT ASTROLOGERS ON THE PLATFORM.

USERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR INTERACTIONS WITH ASTROLOGERS AND OTHER MEMBERS. ASTROLOKAL DOES NOT CONDUCT BACKGROUND CHECKS ON ITS USERS OR ASTROLOGERS AND DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY MISREPRESENTATION, FRAUD, OR UNETHICAL CONDUCT BY ANY MEMBER OR ASTROLOGER. ASTROLOKAL IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL, FINANCIAL, LEGAL, OR PSYCHOLOGICAL ADVICE. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS, SEEK IMMEDIATE HELP FROM A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL.

IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE PLATFORM OR ANY OF ITS SERVICES, YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USE.

Indemnification 

By using AstroLokal, you accept full responsibility for all your actions and information you post.   3. Uploading or submission of Content to the App by you;

  4. Any violation of these Terms, Privacy Policy or any other Policy of AstroLokal by you; and/or

  5. Your infringement of any law or rights of any third party.

We reserve the exclusive right to settle, compromise, and pay any claims or actions brought against us without needing your prior consent. Upon our request, you agree to fully and reasonably cooperate with us in defending against any such claims.

By using the Website, Users acknowledge and accept the limitations of liability and disclaimers outlined above. Failure to comply with these terms may result in suspension, termination, or legal action at AstroLokal’s discretion.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content available on AstroLokal, including but not limited to text, images, software, music, videos, graphics, and other materials, is protected by copyright, trademarks, patents, and other proprietary rights. Users may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works from any content unless expressly authorized by AstroLokal or its licensors.

AstroLokal retains all intellectual property rights to the content, trademarks, logos, and any proprietary materials presented on the platform. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of AstroLokal’s intellectual property without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

Users are granted a limited, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use AstroLokal’s services for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not grant any rights to copy, reproduce, or exploit AstroLokal’s intellectual property on any other platform.
AstroLokal respects third-party intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. Any infringement claims should be reported to AstroLokal, and the platform reserves the right to take appropriate action, including content removal or account suspension, in cases of unauthorized use.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian laws. All disputes under these Terms shall be referred exclusively to courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms including the determination of the scope or applicability of these Terms, or use of the AstroLokal or any information provided thereof, shall be resolved through arbitration conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual consent of the User or Registered Member and the Website. The arbitration shall be governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and the rules made thereunder. The venue of the arbitration shall be Bangalore and the language of such arbitral proceedings and award rendered shall be English. The award delivered pursuant to such arbitral proceedings shall be final and binding on the parties to the dispute.

Notwithstanding anything contained herein above, every party to a dispute shall have the right to seek interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in Bangalore to safeguard the rights of such party pending any arbitration proceeding initiated.

AstroLokal may post notices within the App or send you notices on the e-mail address or the telephone number that You may have shared with Us. You will have received such notices within 3 (three) days of us sending the notice. Your continued use of the App on expiry of such 3 (three) days shall constitute Your receipt and acceptance of the notices sent to You. Severability : If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted. These Terms apply solely to information collected by AstroLokal through its platform and do not extend to unsolicited information provided by users through public channels. Any unsolicited information shared with AstroLokal shall be deemed non-confidential, and AstroLokal reserves the right to use or disclose such information without restriction.

Service Modifications and Errors : AstroLokal does not guarantee that its platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components such as viruses. The company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided on the platform. AstroLokal reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of its services, features, or content at any time, with or without notice. AstroLokal shall not be liable for any losses resulting from such modifications or interruptions.

Entire Agreement and Assignment : These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and AstroLokal, superseding any prior agreements or understandings. Users may not assign or transfer their rights under these Terms to any third party. Additional terms and conditions may apply when using third-party services through the platform.

No Partnership or Agency : Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between AstroLokal and any user. Neither party has the authority to bind or represent the other.

Waiver : Failure by AstroLokal to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision or any other rights. Any waiver must be in writing and explicitly stated.

Injunctive Relief : Users acknowledge that any significant breach of these Terms may cause irreparable harm to AstroLokal, for which monetary damages would be inadequate. In such cases, AstroLokal shall be entitled to seek equitable relief, including temporary and permanent injunctions, in addition to any other legal remedies available. Users waive any requirement for AstroLokal to post a bond or security in seeking injunctive relief.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the Website or in a written agreement, all obligations under these Terms must be fulfilled in a timely manner.

By using AstroLokal, the User acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. Clicking "Accepted and Agreed To" (or a similar button) constitutes binding acceptance, without the need for a signed agreement.
